TIM HOFFMANN:

Tim Hoffmann is the Director of Planning and Redesign for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN). Following a career in clinical nursing and operational management Tim moved into planning, redesign and redevelopment over the last 12 years. Tim has qualifications in Nursing, Health Management and Public Administration and is passionate about transforming the health care system.

Tim’s current role involves leading the planning and redevelopment of tertiary paediatric services at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Key to the role is fostering deeper partnerships and alliances with precinct partners at Randwick and Westmead precincts in health, education, research and innovation.

JULIE WRIGHT:

Julie Wright is the SCHN Communications and Engagement Manager for Redevelopment and Infrastructure.

With more than a decade’s worth of experience under her belt, she has worked in both agency and in-house communications roles in Australia and the United Kingdom. During this time she has been responsible for leading and motivating teams, developing and executing marketing and communications strategies, managing busy press offices, account teams, internal communications, crisis communications, events and the delivery of engaging content across a range of platforms for a varied client list including Fairfax Media, Disney, SBS and Ricoh Europe.

Having spent the early years of her career in public relations for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and communications agencies, she spent time working in London before returning to manage the PR team at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. Over the last five years, Julie has been responsible for leading communications strategy for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead on Stage 1 of the $1 billion Westmead Redevelopment project. In early 2020 she took on the role of SCHN Communications and Engagement Manager overseeing the Network’s communications team, responsible for leading the communications and engagement strategy for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Stage 2 and Sydney Children’s Hospital Stage 1 and Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
